Island Studio is a contemporary art studio in Stone Harbor, New Jersey. We offer paint-your-own pottery, art classes, and creative experiences. We love our customers!

PAINT YOUR OWN POTTERY
HOW IT WORKS
Enjoy painting a ceramic in vibrant colors with your BFFs.
For pottery painting in the studio, there is NO STUDIO FEE FOR THE FIRST HOUR.
You pay only for the cost of the pottery you choose if you finish within one hour of your appointment start time. Want to paint longer? After your first FREE hour, we charge $20 per hour for your group. Your fired pottery will generally ship to you in a week or two at no additional charge to one address. You will pay your bill in the studio on the day of your appointment. There is usually a limit of 2 hours maximum for an appointment. This activity is great for almost any age.
We require a credit card to hold your reservation. Your card will not be charged unless you fail to show up for your appointment. To cancel, kindly notify us no later than 48 hours before your appointment. If you fail to show up for your appointment after 15 minutes without letting us know you are running late, your appointment will automatically be canceled, and a cancellation fee of $20 will be charged to you. We hope this makes sense.
We have aprons you may borrow for any of our art activities.

CANVAS & COCKTAILS PAINT NIGHTS
HOW IT WORKS
Book a paint-and-sip night for your crew! BYOB 21+
Enjoy painting on a canvas while sipping with your besties. Follow along with our instructor as you paint a fun design suitable for any skill level. Beginners welcome. There is no studio fee for a 2-hour appointment. Old clothes are recommended. We have aprons you may borrow for any of our art activities.
Our talented instructor guides you through a fun painting design for two hours on select evenings for $45-$60 per guest. Take your paintings home the same evening.
PRIVATE EVENTS
We would love to host your next corporate or private event. Book a birthday party, girls' night out event, bachelorette party, corporate team-building event, or celebration. BYOB and light snacks are welcome for booked events.

Island Studio’s mission is to help our guests and friends have fun by exploring their creativity. Since 2004, Island Studio has offered ceramics (paint your own pottery) and art classes and now offers a variety of craft kits that are shipped nationwide. We believe art is not just for children - many of our new curated kits are perfect for adults with little to no art experience. We believe that creating art can be a relaxing, mindful experience and a form of self-care. Meditative art activities can be a great way to maintain overall mental health and wellness. We have explored various art mediums over the years and are excited to offer some reimagined options for our guests.

Great place for kids on a rainy day or just to pass some time. There might be a waiting list so get there early leave your name and the owner will text you when space is available while you shop.
My family had a wonderful time creating their pieces of pottery. My grandchildren are 11 years old, 9 years old and 3 years old. They enjoyed all the choices and had trouble choosing one piece but they did! We had a choice of colors and they loved choosing them. The three year old did a lovely mermaid. We were all pleasant surprised, at how carefully she did her piece and how lovely it came out. All the pieces looked beautiful and we will definitely make this a stop for the next time, we visit.
